We are thinking about going the first weekend in Oct. for 2 nights with family but is it worth the $300 a night, I know it comes with 4 passes to their huge indoor waterpark each day but I can't find coupons for the places anywhere to save money. We are going to the one in Williamsburg, VA.
Any imput would be great.

Thanks

OMGOODNESS! I just got back from the Williamsburg location a couple of days ago! What a small world! Where are you getting a quote for $300 a night from? I know that is there normal rate but right now through october they are having their fall pricing and pup weeks. We got a family suite, 2 queen beds and a sofa bed and of course all the other stuff, balcony fridge microwave etc for $139 a night plus tax came to $150 a night. How old are your kids? Get back to me and I'll tell you all about it!

My brother took his kids to the one in Kansas City over the summer and they had a GREAT TIME! I have never been, but he said he would go back again.

Have fun!

ok this is what i found out

if your kids are homeschoolers ( u might be able to use it either way not sure how they would know if u home school or not ) but the deal is regular rate is 319.00 mention WHOME at the time of reservation and get a discounted rate of 149.00 sunday to thursday or 229.00 for friday and saturday.

on their site they also have deals for october 13 to oct 31. i know u said u were going in october but i wasnt sure when .

and the last one is if any of your kids are girl scouts they have a deal - not sure what that is but i can find my daughters program book and let u know what it is if this applies

hope this helps

We looked into going to Great Wolf Lodge (Niagara Falls) and the prices were not bad at all (at least to me), it was less than $200 per night. Where are you getting the $300 price? Is that per night for for both nights total? Of course the closer to the date you make the reservations, the less wiggle room and options you have. I think the Pup Weeks thing is only Sun thru Thur, from what I remember from an email from Wolf Lodge.

They do run specials and such throughout the year, you can just sign up on their website and get the emails. You can also google for coupons to search for deals. Some Entertainment Books have Wolf Bucks.

As far as it being 'worth it'...that's so subjective. It really depends on what you want in a hotel. To me, this place is like my worst nightmare...LOL. From the log cabin decor to the kids running all over the place. But a lot of folks think it's great! :D

Well we are looking at going on a weekend, that is why the price is higher. Oct. 6-8, any coupons would be a great blessing. I saw thoses lower prices but its for a week day.
Well my kid goes to a christian school, so the home schooling price won't work and she isn't in girl scouts.....bummer....thanks for trying....I am praying something will work out for us.
Thanks for all the info ladies....maybe someday a coupon will come up that we can use.

The price has been the same since we have been checking on the website since Aug.
They charge big bucks on the weekend...but when you have kids in school you can't go during the week , so what is a parent to do. Oh well that is life sometimes.

i checked your dates and got $214 a night for the basic family suite. that said we had a blast, the kids loved it it was great! We plan on going back soon. but we got a great price of $139 a night. Would I have paid $300 a night, no, but I'm cheap. It is cheaper Sunday through thursday if I was you I would go and stay sunday and monday night so your daughter would only miss one or two days of school and you would save hundreds....

check in is technically at 4 but they allow you to come and enter the waterpark as early as 1. also we did that and they let us really check in then b/c our room was ready. Check out is 11 am but you can stay until closing at 10pm. ALL the employees were great friendly etc. My kids LOVED it and the Cub Club room was awesome with the all the crafts
