Today is my little guy's 5th birthday. He woke up so happy and excited! He was filled with kisses and hugs, he even kissed and hugged every stuffed animal in his room and his brother. I made his favorite breakfast, blueberry pancakes and put a little candle on top. Dh played the piano and we all sang. After we had a dance party, his brother played "Celebration," his favorite song...lol

He's really excited for his party at school. He is taking pringles and chocolate chip cookies (his favorites). For show and tell, he is taking his favorite cookbook. He has a halloween cookbook and loves to read it. We even made the bbq'd worm sandwiches once.

This is the first birthday he has spent without me. We're having his party on Sunday, but I think I might let him open one of his presents today. Tonight we are going to pick out his birthday cake at the store (madagascar).

It's still soooo hard to have my boys gone everyday.......
