We went to the store today and it was raining hard. Put both of my kids in the double stroller one in the car seat and the other one strap in the front. The whole time I was inside DD whose 2 months started crying bloody murder like someone is killing her or something. Then DS couldn't behave he started taking off his shoes, pulling stuff from the shelves and throwing them on the floor, and when I said no he started crying. I only stayed there for 5 mins. Got what I wanted and left. When I got to my van the car seat got stuck in the stroller and it won't come off. I had to wiggle, pull, and use all my stregth to get the car seat out while both of them are screaming really loud. I was wet, and cold and I stood there trying to get the car seat out for 25 mins and I just literally pull the tray out with it. I thought I was done until the stroller decided to go against me and didn't want to fold. So I stood there again for 30 mins kicking it, pulling it, throwing it on the ground and I finally gave up and put the whole thing unfolded in the van. On the way home both of them are still crying and I thought dd was choking or something because she cried really hard and she didn't take a breath for a while. I had to pull over to the side of the street and got out. She was red all over face. What's worse it was pouring really hard and I could barely see the road. I didn't know how I manage to come home alive. Lesson learn never take kids anywhere until maybe there are old enough to be quiet when you tell them too.

I say that about once a week!

Sorry you had a bad day though! Last time I had my boys out in the pouring rain it seemed like nothing went right either... I know exactly where you're coming from!

I am sorry you had a day like that. The good news is you are home and in dry clothes. On the bright side someday you will be able to tell this story and have a good laugh about it.

I'm sorry. We had a lot of days like that when my girls were younger. It's still not wonderful, but it's better now that they're a little older.

Ugh, it sounds like you were having a really bad day. Hang in there, not all days will be like that.

I feel your pain. I've had similar days like that. Always the elements are working against us. either rain or snow. The memory of taking my then 1 month and 2 1/2 old children to Target still burns in my memory. So much so that even though they are now 4 1/2 and 7, I still try and avoid taking them to the store together. In another five years the youngest will be in kindergarten and you can go alone. I know...I know...easy for me to say now.
