I recently started eating tuna again (stayed away from it while pregnant and nursing). My dog RUNS to the kitchen when she smells the tuna opening. She typically doesn't do this for other food. This is one more instance when she acts like a cat. I give her some on her food since she is so crazy for it.

All of my animals are very specious of tuna. Seems they should like it but they don't. Though my oldest cat at 10 years has recently decided she might eat it once in awhile.

Yes. Great, now I am crying again! I made Peppy tuna and rice every night for the past six months and he loved it. Our younger dog Molly loves it, too.

You know, I had a cat that I LOVED and she use to sit under the table and paw my leg when we ate chicken. She's been gone just over four years and I still get sad sometimes when we eat chicken. She really loved chicken....

Don't worry about it! It isn't taking much to get me to cry.

I had a dog growing up who loved apples, of all things. She could hear an apple being cut in the kitchen from outside and come running. I still think of her when I eat an apple. I just don't cry about it anymore so I know it wil get better.

I have a Golden Retriever so she LOVES everything! In fact the only thing she has tried to eat but just wouldn't was a pisctachio. I doubt she actually tastes anything she eats since it's gone in one giant gulp, but so far that nut is the only thing she wouldn't come running for if it hit the floor. Oh, she likes tuna too.

I hate tuna, so I would not know. Plus, my dogs absolutely, never ever get people food!!!

Mine would agree. The girls feed her stuff all day. My 2 year old is awful about sneaking snacks to her.
