My original goal had been $10,000 and in January I made that goal. I decided to keep saving and posted a new goal of $15,000. I am hoping to reach that goal for July this year.

Wow - congrats!! That's an awesome goal! I hope to be there this time next year! Gotta get rid of those pesky van payments first!

GOOD LUCK!!!

Thanks everyone. I get paid weekly so every week I took 15% of my pay and put it in an ING account. DH gets paid every 2 weeks and I did the same with that pay. I decided to clean house and took all outgrown baby clothes and toys to consignment and put that money in ING as well.
Our local grocery store has 10% off your grocery bill the first Tuesday of the month so I made that my grocery shopping day. I also cut out junk foods, convenience foods, we rarely eat out or have fast food. It's amazing how that can add up.
