My sister and mom were just here this past week and had a HORRIFIC experience with United. I mean, HORRIFIC. Anyway, they both said they LOVED Delta and from now on will only fly with that company.

I have flown on many airlines over the years, and I guess to me my best experience was with US Air. The staff was so accomodating with our baby when we were flying home for the holidays. It was like they were ds' long lost aunties!

We fly alot with the kids and hands down we have had the best experience with Southwest! We can always find reasonable tickets and they are awesome with kids/families.

Honestly KH, I don't even care to go into the details, they were so worked up about it, I was just happy to stop talking about it so we could instead clean up our kids peuk and enjoy some adult conversation! That was far more fun !!

Living in MN, Northwest is one of the only airlines that offers direct flights to where we want to go. That doesn't mean it's my favorite, however. If we had more options I'd choose Southwest, US Air, or Frontier. I've had good luck with them. However, Southwest lost my luggage once and wasn't the nicest about it. I still like their open seating policy and their laid-back atmosphere.

I've had no problems with Southwest, Delta, Spirit Airlines. I fly mostly Northwest as their hub is here in Detroit, so it's my best shot at a direct flight for the lowest rate ($91 round trip to Maryland - woo hoo!). Best airline I've flown on, however, has been British Air.
