or go to one to tan!

I started back to the tanning salon sat. I sold my bed a couple of years ago, after a case of skin cancer. I KNOW, I KNOW not the smartest thing to do.

But I think "fat looks so much better tan"

And my doctor did give me the go ahead, as long as I do it in moderation!

Anyway she went up from 25 to 35 a month!

Just wonder if anyone else's tanning place went up!

I think people who pay to tan have money to burn and rocks in their head. Sorry. It's very bad for you. I wonder where your doctor went to school. My DH had just a pre-cancerous skin lesion and he has to wear sunblock all the time, a hat when outside, and it wasn't even cancer.

I wouldn't buy one either...but that's me.

I love spray tans! It really depends on your skin tone and I think, where you go...but it works really well for me. I've done it few times now for weddings or special events.

No tanning here ... I would only spray tan or tanning lotion tan. I think that is why the rates are going up is less people are really going.

I personally wouldn't use a tanning bed to tan. To bad for the skin & I've had 2 girlfriends with malignant melanoma...that stuff scares the crap out of me. BUT...we talked about getting one a few years ago. My dh has psoriasis and light treatments (different but similar to tanning beds) really help his condition. His dermatologist said he thought maybe we could get one paid for by insurance as it would be cheaper in the long run for them than paying for continuous light treatments. But we never followed up on it and dh just stopped treating his psoriasis.

Do you think you'll look better pale, or withering away from cancer?! I think you're absolutely insane for returning to a tanning bed after already having cancer. Forgive me for saying this, but that's terribly vain.

I guess I can't comment on being pale so I won't, but I do have to agree with Calimari about your doctor. that isn't a doctor but a QUACK.

I just watched a Beth Moore conference and she said the same thing, fat looks better tan. LOL. But she uses a self tanner. Have you thought about that? I used the Avon brand and liked it. But it did seem not to work as great after awhile. But I used the lightest one, I didn't try out the darker shade much. Have you thought about the place that sprays you? I don't know how much that is, but I have heard it gives good results.
