I am looking at replacing the carpeting in the living room and the linoleum in the dining/kitchen. I have been to about 10 different flooring stores here and want some honest opinions on what will work best for our family. Anyone out there that can help, i would greatly appreciate it!

I think probably your best bet is to keep looking in your area and exploring your options. This is one of those things, that you're probably the only one that can figure out what is best for your family...kwim? Maybe do some research online?

Price check like crazy...went to one place and they wanted $2000 for a room and stairs ....went to another place and they happily did it for $700 + $200 installation.
