I work at a bank and a customer of ours name is Mai (not sure of the spelling but pronounced "My" and her last name is Butt. LOL Yes Mai Butt!

Ahhh Maybe mine : Telesia Angel <- I was named after my fraternal grandmother:Telesia Lika who lives in New Zealand shes originally from Western Samoa, my middle name is after my maternal grandfather: Miguel Angel My mom wanted to name me Tiffany Angel, my parents argued after a week when the deadline came up they still had not come to an agreement so the dr picked it lol..

My Moms name is : Queenie Geralda <- she was the 2nd born she was named after both of my great grandmothers
My aunies and uncles are:

Miguelina Angela <- 1st born my grandpa said she was suppose to be a boy and when she came out a girl they just added femanine touches lol

Mariam Antonia <- we call her Mica she was named after a spanish soap opera star and my grandpas ex-girlfriend lol (my grandma had no idea)

after names like this and years of my name being butchered then having to explain to people my names NOT made up and the origin of my name I decided my daughters would have common names with different spellings and only give the middle names after their grandmothers

Gabryel Malia <- their paternal grandma's name is Mary, Malia is Mary in hawaiian
Natylie Serenity-Lee<-ahhh Lee is my fiance's mothers middle name Natylie's last name ending sound is like lee too lol Serenity was after the Serenity prayer I went thru alot during my pregnancy God granted me everything I needed and she helped me realise that

I seen a birth announcement in the paper stating that a family had a little boy named Colby. Not too strange right? He was welcomed home by his big brother Cheddar, and.......you guessed it, their last name is cheese. I thought that was totally cruel!! Life is tough enough and giving your kids cooky names just makes it harder.

I like to work on genealogical charts now and then, and recently I found something really funny....a woman whose first name was Freelove. I know you are thinking "1960's," right? Wrong, this person was born in 1766....and to top it off, her mother's name was also FreeLove!
There are lots of great names that don't get used much anymore...Tirzah, Beriah, Eleazer, Emelyn, Celestia, Maracella. And there are those I can't believe were ever used...who would saddle a baby with Ebenezzer???

My sons name is Layton Charles.. after my grandfather. DS #2 will be Henry Cade.. DD #1 will Addyson Claire and DD#2 will be Kyler Chance.. she is getting the chance and it seems fitting.

I worked in a daycare during college and had a little boy who was put in foster care at birth.. his drug addicted mother named him casper.. like the ghost.. we called him cas.. hope that stuck... such a cutie.

My grandmothers name was eugina.

My fathers name is Owen.. my friends always asked... like the sausage..
