Once we had a catalog request from a guy named Phil Ennis. We addressed it to "P. Ennis"

We couldn't resist! HAHA! Yes, I know, grow up. That's twice from me today.

I have met a Jurgen (Pronounced -Yoorgen -I think it's German), a Tandi, a Carrington, and a girl named Dolly - who was my age. I just thought that last one was cute, very old fashioned.

I personally have one. I don't post my name, so those that have my info for the coupon train, get rid of the first last name and read the name. that is why I just hyphenated dh's name to mine.

These are really fun to read! My grandmother's first name is Dimple...she goes by her middle name and I've never asked why she was named that!

I went to school with a Sam Francisco.

There was a family in a neighboring town when I was growing up with boy named Dusty Rhodes.

My maternal grandfather was Emmons. My paternal grandfather & my father (I think it goes back even farther, but I'm not sure) both have the middle name Ellsworth.

I have a friend who had a baby about a year ago. The little girl's name is Erin. They first spelled it Eryn, but before the hospital had even sent in the birth certificate, they were so sick of having to tell people how to spell/pronounce it that they called the hospital to have it changed it to the conventional spelling.

What I've never understood with names like Dick Little, is that Dick is usually short for Richard. Why oh why don't those guys use the nickname Rick or Rich instead of Dick????
