I have felt yucky for about a week now.... I have celiac disease, allergy to wheat and gluten, and dh kept asking me if it was something that I had been eating... I did not think so until today.

there was gluten in my TEA! I have been so good about checking my labels, and I honestly did not think that there would be gluten in that. It was the Celesial Seasons coconut chai tea, which I tought would be great since it was decaf...

Oh well, at least I know why my tummy is upset, that stuff went straight in the compost bin. Too bad cuz it was good too!

I am glad you figured it out too

I had a similar problem one time. My husband has a sensitivity to caffeine. I did everything to avoid it. Well one night I made him some Tacos with a different seasoning pack then usual (the extra cheapy brand)....well that evening he was really agitated and said honey I feel horrible like I had some caffeine. Guess what the taco seasoning had cocoa in it I got to deal with an agitated on edge guy for a few days because of it.

gluten is hidden in SO MANY THINGS!!!! My DD2 who is 4 has celiac disease as well...took us forever to find out why she was so sick, now that we know- well, it's not easy- but manageable! I did not know that gluten was in some tea...I know that there are a few types of tea that don't have it.

Funny thing is, I looked at corned beef to buy for dinner tonight (it's st. patrics day) and not all corned beef is gluten free either!
