We were visited by leprechauns at preschool today. They turned our milk and juice green. They also entered our preschool room while we were at the bathroom washing up for snack. they knocked coats on the floor, they knocked chairs over, they put the large garbage can on top of the table, books on the floor and several other things. The kids thought it was great. Sneaky little youth pastor anyway. Then we were entertained by our youth pastor with his Irish flutes and his Irish Drum. His wife was born and raised into her teen years in Ireland until coming to the U.S. for her father to pastor the church where I work. So St. Patrick's Day is a pretty big deal at our preschool since our pastor is from Ireland.

That is so cute! Now I am reminded that one year when I was in elementary school that happened to us. I wish I would have remembered so I could have done something like that for dd today. I will have to remember for next year. what a fun idea!

They came to visit DD's kindergarten class last year and that's all she could talk about still THIS year. She was hoping they would visit in 1st grade too, but they didn't

My daughter's elementary school had a performance by six girls at who are students at the school and take Irish step dancing lessons. She thought it was great.

We do this at our home. The toliet water gets changed, milk, peanut butter, eggs, etc. If they go to school everything in their lunchbox is green. They love it. It is great that this was done at your preschool.
