I read about a new site (at least new to me) Saturday on bzzagent called swaptree. I went and checked it out and it lets you list books, CDs, DVDs, and video games you're willing to trade away, and then you get to make a wish list of those same items you want, and then they arrange trades for you. So since I ALREADY belong to two online book swapping sites, I decided what the heck, and spent an hour or so and listed a bunch of books for trade, and made a list of some things I was looking for. Wasn't sure what I thought about it, but this morning VOILA

they just offered me a really cool hardback book my ds has been DYING for that costs quite a bit of money, and all I have to do is trade away an old used book of mine. COOL!!! I'm excited. So I thought I'd see if any of you might want to check it out. If you do...I'm aliadam there too.

Well you can go to their site periodically to check it out...I recommend that, or you can wait until you get an email. The problem with waiting for the email is that sometimes it's already filled if you wait too long. But this isn't a campaign I signed up for. It's one of those weird "frog" things that I don't really get. Most of the time I just ignore them, but since I already do a lot of online book trading I decided to check this one out. Like I said, I wasn't expecting much, but was really surprised today when I got the offer of a trade. I'd had this hardback book on my wishlist at my other two book swapping sites for over a year and never gotten it, and here I got it in 2 days. My son will be THRILLED!!!

Thanks Pam. It looks really cool. There are some books and dvds I would be thrilled to have. Stuff libraries dont have lol.

Did anyone else ever look at this or join this?? I joined and listed 62 books I'm done with and I can't believe what all I'm offered. Here's the thing from this morning of all the things I can choose from. Really...you should check this out!!!
