Ds's birthday and Christmas shopping is all bought - and wrapped! His birthday is in Dec. and my in-laws come in October and I try to have everything bought and wrapped by then. I still need to get stocking stuffers for dh (see previous thread) and a few little things but for ds is completely Done!!:D

WOW, I'm very impressed. My dd b-day is in early December so I know how it is trying to shop for both. Since she is still young (will be 3 this December) we get away with not giving her much on her b-day. We put $$ into her account instead. Last year I don't think we even bought her an actual gift for her b-day. She doesn't realize, she had so many gifts from everyone else. I also try to put some gifts aside for mid year since she gets everything all in December. Christmas last year though, there was plenty (probably too much) under the tree!

Now I have bought a few things for her but I'm very impressed and jealous that you are not only DONE but that everything is WRAPPED!

GOOD FOR YOU!!!

Good for you! Not only have I not bought one Christmas gift for my dd, I have no idea what to get her. She's so hard to buy for.

Congrats ~ that is great! I have my DD (all except stocking stuffers) done and all my nieces/nephews done so that just leaves me with my DS. He is 5 and I am having a hard time deciding what to do. I will continue to wait since he started school this year, I am sure there will be talk at school about the "IT TOY".

So is ds. I was panicking because as of a few weeks ago I had no idea of what to get him. I finally got down the right path when a friend of mine who knows ds very well said, "You know, you need to shop like National Geographic stores or educational stores like that" so I checked out National Geographic and they had tons of educational type toys - also a catalog called Little Explorers. They had a rock tumbler, chemistry sets for 4 year olds, ladybug habitat, etc. and I know he'd love that kind of stuff. I mainly ordered his stuff from there!
