Comfortable jeans and a sweatshirt while playing outside with my kids because the air isn't laden with high humidity that makes it impossible to breathe outside and play with my kids.
Halloween candy.
Opening windows and getting fresh breezes through the house.

Sweatshirts, frycakes and apple cider, the smell of fall leaves, stocking up my cupboards (I think I'm part squirrel), thinking about halloween costumes and treats, decorating the front porch w/ pumkins and corn stalks..... I love EVERYTHING about fall!

I like the color of the turning leaves. I am NOT a cold person, so the weather is not for me!

I used to favor summer, but I think that now I like autumn the best. My older age can't tolerate the extreme heat and humidity of summer like I could as a kid.

I love the smell of fall, eating apple crisp , wearing jeans and a sweatshirt and going to the pumpkin patch. I don't like raking leaves.

I love sweater weather! It's my favorite! I love to bundle up in front of the fireplace with a mug of hot chocolate and watch a movie with the family.
And my newest love this fall is pumpkin patch scented sachet.... My secret sister sent it to me and I got it for my 'little' sister and bought myself some more if it! It is a WONDERFUL fall smell!

This is my most favorite time of the year. I love fall and winter. I love the smell of leaves burning and the sound of leaves crunching underneath your shoes. I love driving in the mountains and looking at all the brilliantly colored leaves. I love driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway at night and looking in the rear view mirror at the leaves blowing and twirling from underneath your car. I love going to Boone and eating at Daniel Boone Inn. I love the crisp morning air. I love the Carolina blue skies we have in the fall. I love the fall festival at our school and the Halloween party at church. I love the dark, rich colors of clothing for fall. I love that there is no humidty. I love to feel my kids cold cheeks after they come in from outside. I love to bake cookies. I love going to the pumpkin patch. I love walking on the beach when it is very cool and letting the cold water come up over your feet. I love the sunrises in the fall, but I love the sunsets even more--they are truly breath taking. I wish I could describe the feeling I have inside of me when I think of fall.

I truly get "fall fever" like most people get spring fever.
