UGH...I don't know what to do. I did half a bottle of Drano this evening, but it didn't help. I'll do the other half later after everyone goes to bed so nobody is tempted to turn the water on in the sink. It's making a mess, though...water backs up into the sink when the dishwasher empties out and now the dishwasher won't empty out all the way. Any other ideas??? We REALLY can't afford a plumber right now. Guess I'll do dishes in the bathtub if nothing helps...lol

Did you flush your sink with real hot water and did you use liquid plumber? the kind that sinks into the drain, it has a gel like consistincy. Did you put a plunger to it?

Shut the water off and take the pipe off. Its the only way to get a major clog out. Do you have a garbage disposal? If so thats probly where your clog is.

Are you having problems with any other drains in your house? Since you live out in the country, I'm assuming you have a septic tank. Do you think you might need to get your septic tank pumped out to improve drainage?

We've had sink issues lately too, I did the draino, liquid plumber, plunger, hot water, snake, finally AFTER I did do the dishes in the Bathtub(so NOT fun, talk about backache ) My dh had to take apart the pipe and clean it out, it's been smooth runnin' ever since. BTW, some really nasty, funky stuff came outta that pipe, so if you have a weak stomach, Beware!! Good Luck!!

There is an adapter that you can buy at a Home Depot- it fixs onto the end of a garden hose and you put that down/in the drain and turn the hose on and it is really high pressure and can push the blockage away. I so not know the name of it. It is about 4 to 5 iches of black rubber. We use it a lot to fix problems and if this does not work then we call the plummer.
Good luck

There is a solution you can buy at Home Depot and Lowes. It has some type of acid in it and your not supposed to put it in the toliet becasue it will blow it up! LOL

We had to use it in our old house, becuase the drain in the bath tub would get clogged!
