Were you ready for motherhood?
Yes totally! I was 25, married for almost 3 years when she was born.
Have you ever met someone who has completely inspired you to be a better person? Can you tell us about that relationship and how it has affected you?
My husband actually! I was always taught that you want to marry someone who inspires you to be a better person...but they should also feel that way about you. I think that worked out pretty well for both of us!
Do you have any nervous habits? What are they?
Oh I bite my nails. I also talk to fast when I'm anxious
Did you ever date a guy your parents did not like? Were they right about him?
Oh yeah I did! And yes they were totally right! I really dodged a bullet!
What do you want your kids to remember the most about you?
That I love them (when there is more than one =) more than anything and no matter what, everything I ever do is because I'm trying to do what's in their best interest.
What did you learn the most from your mother?
How to be a mother and a friend at the same time.
How many coupons do you use on a regular basis? What is your best money saving tip?
I use a few every week at the grocery store. I love coupons for other stores too...like clothing..etc. If you haven't yet..check out your local yahoo group of freecycle.org!

I found it on a link from mommom.com...I think that's the site! It was sometime last year!
Out of all the things the members here have offered in terms of advice, support, counsel and criticism, what have you personally benefited from? And do you remember specifically who the member was that offered that advice? Gosh..I got so much from this site! I feel totally part of the group of wonderful, generous, and hardworking moms who are from all walks of life. I feel like we are all just here to help each other out and I love the encouraging posts that I read! It's a great uplifter!

What is the most romantic thing your dh ever did for you?
he asked me to marry him..twice..giving me a ring both times...lol...long story for another time!
Tell us five things you like about yourself.
I love my mid-twenties! I'm so much more secure w/ myself and who I am than I ever have been in my life! I'm confident, I love people, I love my family more than anything, I love that I'm up for trying new things!
What hobby do you enjoy the most? What got you started on it? How would you rate yourself?
Can you show us a picture of your proudest piece of work? I like to paint...I don't have any pictures of it. I think it looks like the work of a 10 year old though! lol I loved van Gogh in high school and since I can't draw a straight line, I followed his impressonistic style. That's what allows me to paint! I love it!
How many frogs did you kiss before you found Mr. Right? Was he worth the wait?
Actually, he is the first guy I kissed! I dated a bit, however I always took affection very seriously. I wasn't going to give it out if I didn't truly feel it. I guess I was always picky because I never fell in love w/ anyone until I met Chris! He was TOTALLY worth the wait!
What is your favorite genre of music? Who is your favorite group? Have you ever seen them in concert?
I like all kinds of music and have lots of favs. I don't like concerts because they are too noisy and loud. The only type of concert I would ever go to is like a Josh Groban or something because the crowd wouldn't be rowdy!
List three things you have on your Life List; things you would like to accomplish before you leave this world
I really want to have 2 more children and watch them grow up and have children of their own. I want to own my dream home (not anything too extravagant), I want to travel to different parts of the world.
Which room in your house best reflects your personality?
The kitchen...totally..that's my space!
What do you see your children growing up to be like? What career path would they choose?
well I have only one so far...so I'm not sure since she is so young. It will be something having to do w/ people though. She loves all people!
Is there something we would never guess about you? Some kind or quirk you have no one close to you knows about. (Come on tell us!!!!)
That no one knows?! I honestly don't think so because I tell my husband pretty much everything. However..I did have an interesting childhood. Until I was 12, I grew up in the inner-city where there was a gang in my neighborhood and I was one of the few little white girls in my school...sometimes the only one in my class. On the flip-side..my grandparents owned a farm that was used almost like a family cabin. We spent many weekends up there and several weeks in the summer. I would ride on a tractor, bale hay, and feed the cows. My brother and I liked to play hide-and-seek in the cornfield. Talk about a strange childhood!
Are there words you live by? What are they?
I really believe in the whole.."Do unto others..." thing because I do believe that what goes around comes around..good and bad. I also believe that God wouldn't ever give us any struggles that we can't handle. It's the hard things in life that help us appreciate the good!
