Happy May Day!!!

Did you ever deliver May Day baskets as a child? Do you do it now with your children?

This morning we put together 4 baskets, went outside and picked daffadils and tulips, then we went to our neighbors and knocked on the door.. Because they are elderly we didn't knock and run we waited and wished them a Happy May Day.

We have done this every year since they could walk. The ladies get the biggest kick out of it. And my girls love it just as much..

I remember doing May baskets as a kid. It was fun! I think the boys and I are going to make one for dh this afternoon. Maybe next year I can plan ahead a little more and we can do this for the grandmas.
