I lost the big diamond out of my engagement ring!!! I was in bed last night and looked down and it was gone!!! We looked all around, but I am not sure when it disappeared. I did not many things yesterday that it is gone! I bathed 7 puppies, 4 boys and scrubbed the tub, changed the sheets on 5 beds and did about a dozen loads of laundry!!! I went to the grocery store and took my dd back home, I even drug the ladder up from the basement and dusted all the ceiling fans (we have very high ceilings) It could be anywhere!! I know we are not going to find it

Oh my! That happened to me the first year of my marriage. I was at work loading some video equipment into the trunk of the car & my finger caught on something & when I pulled it out the diamond was gone. In the parking lot around me - tons of crushed glass from broken bottles. My DH found the diamond caught in the wheel well of the car. Couldn't believe it. You might want to check the drain where you bathed the dogs.

Oh no.That happened to me once. I had cleaned house all day. Like you, laundry, cleaned bathroom, washed dishes, swept. You name it, I had done it. Anyway towards the end of the day I touched my ring to rotate it around my finger (I do that often) Anyway it didn't feel right. I looked down and the big diamond in the center was gone!!! Not only was it my wedding ring, but it was his grandmother's ring. This was during dh's cancer treatments, so I was emotional all the time anyway, but I lost it. I cried and cried. Anyway dh, being the calm person he his (thank goodness) started back tracking through the house and when he went into the kitchen he saw something shiny on the carpet and lo and behold, there it was!!! I was so happy.

I hope you have the same good luck I had. I know for sure how upsetting that is.
