Hi
I was wondering what kind of deordant everyone likes??

I love the Dove deordrant.

Does anyone worry about the kidney disease warning on the back of it??

I either use Sure unscented or Degree. To be honest I never knew there was a warning label on the back about kidney disease! I have tried the "all natural" crystal deodorants, and they did not work very well in the summer here once it got up into the triple digits!

I use Suave and will check this evening to see about that warning as I never heard of it.

People who already have kidney disease should be aware that antiperspirants (not deodorants) have small amounts of aluminum in them which might be absorbed by the body and cause the kidneys to struggle a bit more. People without kidney disease don't have to worry. So far there is nothing that indicates that antiperspirants cause kidney disease. Those 'natural' crystals are entirely alum salts which isn't good for the kidneys either.

I have never heard of the kidney warning, only breast cancer from the aluminum. I have been using a natural deoderant from honeybeegardens.com and like it. Some days I will wear regular deoderant if it is going to be hot but for most of the time use the other stuff.

I recently switched from Secret to Tom's of Maine (Apricot). Tom's doesn't have aluminum in it. It really does work very well.

I use Lady Speed Stick. I get headaches from certain fragrances so I'm not changing because I found one that works and doesn't give me a headache. I've never worried about any kind of a warning.
