It is nothing major and it most certainly won't pay what my husband's job did but it is part time and it will work around whatever schedule of work that DH will find when he returns to the work force. I'm just cashiering at our local grocery store evenings and weekends. Which means the kids will be at home with their daddy when I'm away. The few times that we will have scheduling conflicts, than Grandma can step in.

I'm actually enjoying it and the people are very nice. Not to mention this little bit of money will be tossed towards debt reduction! And that is always a good thing.

I was going to ask that today and forgot. But I don't think they do.

I am happy. And I love watching my husband attempting to run around and do everything I do! Or better yet - tell me his plans for the day!

There are some things that I am best off not knowing. Last summer (during a warm period) when I was in the hospital with our son being born, DH husband brought our daughter down to see us. She was wearing winter clothing, stuff that I had on the bottom of her clothing. He had to like dig for those clothes -- and hair ... don't even mention her hair! And I don't even want to know what he feeds them.

He was mad today -- my 4 year old told him, "Daddy, you need to go back to work so Mommy can come home and stay with me." The stay at home parent gets no love!

Awww, your dd is like mine, she would've told my hubby he was fired. She always tells him when he is not doing things like Mommy.

I do think it is better for my kids when my dh takes care of them for awhile. They get sort've obsessive about having everything the way Mommy does it.

It sounds like you are making the best of it. I'm glad you like your new job
