I have been going to each drawer and cabinet, trying to get rid of stuff we don't need.

At what age have you gotten rid of all the plastic plates, and cups, and restaurant cups?? Seems like they are multiplying over here.

My kids do use regular dinnerware, and glasses. But I still tend to use a lot of the plastic stuff. But I am starting to wonder if they are at an age where I can get rid of most of it???

IT all depends on how much the plastic stuff is still being used. IF your not useing it much , I say get rid of it.Keep one or two just in case.

Hmmm, that would be never. As far as the plastic cups goes at least. We still use the cheap character cups that you can buy at walmart for 59 cents. But the reason here is because we have tile floors and dropping a glass can result in a 20 foot radius shatter zone. There is nothing like seeing a glass hit a tile floor. My girls are 10,13,18 and we still like using our hello kitty, strawberry shortcake, little nemo, etc... cups. :D

I've Never used plastic for ds, except if we were on the road. I don't like the look of it. I've never used plastic glasses either - ds has never broken a ceramic dish or a glass. Get rid of them! The kids will be fine!
