**Weird Fri the 13th stories anyone?**

Ok mine didn't get weird until the sun went down.

1st someone drunk dialed our house in the middle of the night and blocked the number. Scared the crap out of me because noone calls that late unless it's an emergency.

2nd I log into my Myspace account this morning and there is a message from some psycho titled beautiful girl - I open it and it says you are a great mom. So I look at the profile and it's pretty much blank - except for the town which is probably 40 miles away. Weird.

Ok, that is pretty weird! But she is right, you are a good mom.

I had one thing totally weird me out!! I kept getting phone calls from this number, but the girls and I were in the middle of something so I didn't answer. The caller left messages about urgently needing to speak to me. I looked at caller ID and as it was an 800 number I figured it was a telemarketer or such. When I had a down moment I called just to see what business it was- well, the person who answered said didn't sound professional, didn't identify a business (actually, she sounded professional, but not in a legal sort of way if you get my meaning). So, I politely said, sorry have the worng number. Well, not a minute later, this same guy calls back (it was a woman who answered the phone) and said that he knew I was there listening as I had just called (we have our id blocked) and said wrong number and I needed to pick up the phone right away. I had DH call them back and the guy would never tell DH what business he was from or anything. He was looking for someone with the same last name, but kept pumping DH for info about us and this person (whom we have no idea who it is!) Very wierd and bothered me since he never told us where he was from- don't know if he is a legit debt collector, scammer, or if he's trying to get info from us to steal our identity. We did reverse lookup on the number and its not listed.

Other than that- uneventful day, thankfully

Phone calls in the middle of the night are the worst.

Nothing weird or erie happened yesterday happened yesterday except that my daughter actually ate about 75% of her dinner. Usually I am thrilled to get her to eat 25%. I know, not the most exciting Friday the 13th story to share. :D I was hoping to stay awake long enough to see if any scary movies were on last night, but I was out by 9pm. Maybe I'll have better stories on Halloween.

I totally didn't put two and two together yesterday being the 13th. Marcus clogged the upstairs bathroom toilet and I can't get it to unclog (DH couldn't either last night when he got home). Then the baby pulled off his diaper (first time) and peed on the kitchen floor. And while I was giving the dog his pill, Marcus wrote all over my kitchen cabinets with me watching. I had promised ice-cream lasat night, but he just would not go with the program.

I'll chalk it up to Friday the 13th!

Well it didn't happen to me directly, but, a friend of mine had some freaky things happen and I was kind-of involved, 1st she came over to my house & I did her nails(I don't have a lic. I just do them for her & my Mom) Since she didn't have time to go to the bank she wrote me a check, sooooo, I then go to the bank on the way to p/u ds and try to cash the check, the woman at the bank won't cash it, she say's that the numbers on the check(routing & Bank #'s) are incorrect. So, I get home & call my friend, she freaks out, because they are a new batch of checks, but, she's written a whole bunch so far and thought they were OK, but she checks the #'s & they are in fact wrong, so she goes to the bank to straighten it out, and calls me to say it's all OK, only 3 checks that she wrote haven't been processed yet, the bank notated her acct. and all is well, next thing I know she's back at my house to pay me cash(which I had told her not to worry about) and she had broken off her pinky nail (in the car door handle) so she wanted me to fix that anyway so I did. Then, she left, I went outside to pick up all of mine and my neighbors Halloween decorations that had been blowing all over our yard because it was so windy. When I come back in there is a msg on my machine from my friend saying , OMG, it really is Friday the 13th, when she was on her way home from my house , she was driving past the WalMart and a friggin' Shopping Cart comes flying out of the parking lot and she had to swerve her car so she didn't hit it, but she thought the people coming up behind her may have hit it, she was freaked out & just went HOME!! I told her she needed to sit down, relax and have a stiff drink!! I sure hope her day got better!!!

nothing happened to me personally, but in winnipeg, windows out of the raddisson hotel were falling out, and its a pretty tall place, and a semi ran into a support column for a bridge. it all happened yesterday.

Not Freaky, Awesome: DH got 2 job offers!!! Looks like we're moving again!
