I just got my first email for dh. They made it safe and he had 10 minutes to use the computer. He said things were good and that he is fine. Was sleep though and going to bed. They are 8 hours ahead of us making it midnight when he mailed me. Just wanted to let you guys know he was ok. I am too... still miss him though but those 10 minutes were some of the most special to me! Thank you all for your continued prayers!

Shaking in my boots (well, if I was wearing them in the middle of summer!), but glad to be back!

Bedrest is still upon me, but it's ok. I am allowed to move around and clean a little (no bending, pushing, pulling, or lifting, which means hardly anything) and I can walk outside every now and then. Other than that doing ok. Thanks!

Glad he made it safely. My DB is in Kuwait, actually he's in Kuwait City. He's there working as a civilian. He's over the border relations with Iraq and has been there a year now. He started in Iraq with one company, then transferred to another company and moved to Kuwait.

on a lighter side of things, Dh emailed me this morning to tell me he had found a stow away in his duffel bag. Seems as though our 2 yr old ds had snuck his G.I. Joe into daddy's bag. So every days he tells me what he and SGT Cole (G.I. Joe) are doing. As he posts messages I will paste them here for you're light reading ...HAHAHAHA!

I went back to my tent and started unpacking. Opened my duffle and should I find SGT Cole (First Name: GI Joe). Walked to shave and brush my teeth. Well after that I walked back to the tent got SGT Cole and we went to the PX got me a camera and flashlight. SGT Cole will go everywhere I go, I carry him in that loop on my shorts. WHen I am in uniform I will figure something out. I am planning on SGT Cole and me taking pics, at alot of the places we go. He is barefoot with no Helmet on.... BAD, SGT Cole!!! SGT Cole is my battle buddy. Anybody messes with me ha s to mess with him too. HA HA HA Well I go tto go, I will email you later and let you know what else is going on here.***
