As some of you may know I quit my very stressful job about 5 weeks ago. I have been staying home and vegging out. It has been so refreshing. Well I am ready to tackle a job again so I started a cleaning business. I have a client tomorrow. I am sooooo excited and I am going to be able to be home after school with my daughter. Its going to be nice to be in charge of my own schedule. Just wanted to share. Have a great day everyone.

Wonderful and good luck! As an independant web designer, I can tell you that the best way to get new clients is word of mouth. Ask all of them to pass your name and info onto friends/family.

Good Luck!

Unfortunately I have to clean my house by myself - one income family. I really hope you are able to make a go at this in today's economy. I know many of the posts here on MS talk about doing jobs yourself instead of paying someone to do it, ie, lawn guy.

If I had a better back and really good cleaning solutions or products I would think about getting into the business. So, after cleaning other peoples homes do you mind coming home and cleaning your own?

and offer something small to the original customer for anyone that lets you clean their home too.
