I agree that it does take both of you to agree. I might have gone for three but my husband, from day one, was so against it. We discussed it and when it came down to it, his being against it was way stronger than my kind of for it. We have our two and I'm glad to be done with the whole pregnancy thing. We might adopt, someday, but it will be when our children are older.

Well thanks for all your input. His reason (I think its more than this though) is money. His hours have been cut, we're just making it. Plus, I think he might be worried about the health of another baby. Ds was 5 weeks early, spent a month in NICU and if it wasn't for the awesome insurance we [u]had[u], we would have been SOL. We've miscarried 3 babies before we had dd so I think this is also a concern for him. The problem was found by our doctor so that isn't an issue anymore. My feeling is that you're never gonna be 100% prepared to have a baby no matter how much $ you have. You never know what will happen. The best made plans can't prepare you for everything. BTW, dd is 5 and ds is 3. They'd both love to have a little brother or sister. I think I'll try him again next year.

BTW, this isn't really relevant to my post but thought I'd put in this side note. Dh called his mom the other night and said "I got good news" (we got the big 10 network) and to be funny I yelled "no I'm not pregnant lol", and she said "why would that be good news".
