party? and this is not a debate on actual parties nor is this ? to ask wich party you will vote for
just curious if people look into the issues more and vote for that or
that you are into a party in particular?

Despite what someone's crystal ball says I actually look at the person. Of course I'm not up on all the issues and my state, since it is small and typically goes Republican, I usually stay more up on local issues.

I also will look at the person. But it is very rare that a Republican will have the same views as me on issues.

same. I do make sure I listen to all sides, it's better to be an informed voter with an open mind than one set in their political ways. I am not into making assumptions about anyone, my party or not, assumptions are damaging.

I also listen to both sides and have watched BOTH conventions, but I'm the opposite of Happymom (surprised anyone ) and never feel like the democrats meet what I'm looking for. I have voted for democrats for more local things though.

I am with Happymom on this one. However I have voted Republican for senate, that was years ago. I also somehow got put on the Republican call list. Not sure what I supported but apparently it was on the right side.

I look more at the person opposed to the party (though I tend to always vote Democrat).

Same here, except the opposite in that my views are rarely in line with the Democrats.
