If you need help with something, big or small...do you ask for help, or would you rather just go it alone?

I'm too stubborn and independant (not always a good combination ) to ask for help. I'll do everything I can to do something on my own.

If/When I do ask for help, it's usually only DH I ask ~ I HATE asking neighbors or friends. I hate to bother them with something I can't do.

It really depends on what it is for me. I normally like to do it all myself. I don't like relying on anyone or waiting on someone to get the job done, but like if it's something heavy then yeah I'll ask for help. Like last summer when I was pregnant with #3, and it was fathers day and me and the boys had bought the huge tool chest for DH from sears. We went and picked it out, had someone loaded it up for us at Sears (it was 3 boxes), well when we got home, I saw the neighbors son cutting the grass (he's 15), so I just asked him if he could help me get it in the garage. Once in there, I opened all the boxes, put the thing together, and we put a bow on it until Daddy came home. When we first got a cleaning lady come to the house (early this year), it was so hard for me let go and someone else clean the house, but I knew it was just way too much, so I bit the bullet on that one.

If I truly need help then I will ask for it. There is nothing wrong with admitting when you need help for something.

But If it is something that I can do, but am too lazy to do it, then no I will not ask for help. I just suck it up and get off my lazy butt and do it
