My best friend from college called me last week and told me she is pregnant! I am so excited for her and her husband. She is will be 36 when the baby is born and has been married a little over a year now. She and her husband will be great parents.

Today, my local friend called to tell me that they leave next Friday to go get their daughter in Nepal that they are adopting. It has been an even longer process for her. She has a four year old boy, but has not been able to conceive since then for a number of reasons.

So, two new babies - one I get to see right before Thanksgiving! I am so excited! Going to have to plan some showers now!
