My dd#3 I think has a sinus infection. she does not have a high fever but does have a low grade fever. she has been cold at times usually right b4 the fever hits. I'm sure her poor little body is fighting like crazy. she has severe headaches. stuffy nose which nothing seems to help. she has had the stuffy nose for at least one week. I wasn't sure until today when I sat down and figured it out. the other symptom which doesn't seem to match is vomiting. she has only had 2 episodes, the headache was strongest right b4. and then she is immediately cold. I tried webmd but it didn't answer any Q's I had or maybe I'm wiped since it's 2:45am and I have to be up to get kids to school and stay home with one sicko and one crazed 3yr old. she did have a SI last year and ended up missing 2 weeks of school after all was said and done. I'm hoping to prevent that. should I call Dr and make appt? or just call my mom and ask her to come over so I can shower and sleep? both?

Anytime a kid is sick, especially with a fever, and you are wondering whether to call the Dr., call. They are too busy to have you come in for minor things and will tell you whether you should bring in. A lot of times, I don't bother with the receptionists; I ask to speak with a nurse or have the Dr. call me back. Sounds like your little one needs a round of antibiotics to beat this thing, so yes, I would take little one in. Better safe than sorry, or letting little one suffer needlessly. I hope she gets better soon.
