I just got back from Dollar General!!!!
I got 12 boxes of Anacin, 1 bag of Jumbo Luvs diapers, 1 bottle of Glass Plus Glass Cleaner, and one bottle of Ajax dish detergent. The total was 2.30 but with tax of 1.83 I ended up paying 4.13. I am so proud. DID I MENTION I LOVE COUPONS!!!
By the way all the coupons i used were for cents/dollars off--the total without coupons would have been $30.83. I will post pics when i get my camera some fresh batteries.

Oh I love them too! 10 bottles of L'Oreal vive at CVS today... using (5) $4.00 off when you buy two, and my 20 dollars extra bucks from buying some of the same on Monday I just paid a whole whopping ONE DOLLAR!!! Going back Friday when my Extra bucks print out again and repeating lol 50 dollars worth of shampoo for 1 dollar I cant beat it!

Is General dollar a actual dollar store? my dollar stores ndon't take coupons.

Yes..sort of. It does have products for 3$ or 5$ but they are usually in the 1$ area or 2for$1.
I don't know which dollar store you are refering to unless it is dollar tree.
Some stores may vary but Dollar General does take coupons and I believe Family Dollar should as well.

Extra bucks is a CVS thing, every week they have some sales like L'Oreal this week... 2 for 8 dollars with your CVS card, CVS card is also how you get your Extra bucks... So this week its 2 for 8 dollars.. when you buy 2 you get 4 extra bucks.... plus my 4 dollars off 2 coupon = free... It's CVS little reward card thing. They give you back money for buying things, prints out a coupon 48 hours after your purchase. Can only be used at CVS but really you can just keep rolling them over if you buy the items on sale like this. I have to brag a bit myself here. We went to Meijer last night. Yesterday and today they have milk for .99. When was the last time you saw that! My DH bought two and I bought two. They also had general mills cereals 2/$6. I had a $1 off 2 coupon and a $1 off 3 coupon. Then, there were even a few coupons actually on the boxes! I bought bread for under $2/loaf (the good stuff with lots of fiber). They also had double packages of Sure deoderant and I had .25 off each of those, so I got each individual deo. for $1.87. I also bought some other things without coupons, but I know what they go for at the other grocery store I go too, so I saved a lot. In total, I bought 28 items and only paid $41. I'll hit the other store today or tomorrow for everything else I need. (They have a lot of BOGO sales and I have coupons for those too!)

Is it sick and twisted to get so excited about this kind of thing? (Maybe it's just sad that this is the excitement in my life now...)
