SandraK..I appreciate your bible verses at the bottom of your e-mail and had to share this story. This last month has been hellish for me, Luckily I have been able to keep up with my coupon trains. I had to have a knee replaced totally. More pain than I have ever been thru in my life. It is still a challenge as I learn to walk again. I have to have the other one done also next Feb. I thought it would be easier on me since I was young and old people seem to breeze thru it....WRONG. I had to have 13 spinal sticks not 1 like most, had to have a blood transfusion, and my pain was out of control. Then it was explained to me that it is harder on young people because their muscles are toned, tighter, more dense and contract more. Talk about Spasms from you know where! Older people's muscles are looser so they are able to move an recover quicker and have less pain then the younger people.

Well for 9 days after surgery I could not pick my foot up off the ground no matter how hard I tried. I would almost pop the veins out of my neck trying so hard. I wrote 2 verses on my foot in permanant marker..one was your..." I can do all things thru Christ which strengthens me" and Jer. 30:17 "I will make you well again. I will heal your wounds". Those powerful promises still help me but now they are written on my heart.

I am so happy that you also draw strength from some of my favorite verses. Please keep me in your prayers as I struggle to get my mobility back so I can enjoy life with my children.
