I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread with store coupon policies!

I will add those that I know of here and please feel free to add other stores that you know of!

Dear Target Guest,
Coupons are a great way to save even more when shopping at Target, and we make it easy to use them at our stores. But because of the variety of coupons available to our guests, we do have some guidelines for how coupons can be redeemed at Target:

We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued coupons and manufacturer-issued coupons.

We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.

We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item; in that case, we'll adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item.

We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores.

All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier at the time of sale.

Have questions or want more information about using coupons at Target? Check with a Guest Services Team Leader at your Target store. You can also give us a call at (800) 440-0680, or visit us on Target.com. Either way, we're here to help!

Also, We've established our policy as one way guests may expect value and low prices on all our merchandise. Target doesn't price match with other competitor stores. Target prices can vary between stores and our Web site because of the market value of the item. I'm sorry for any inconvenience or disappointment this may have caused.

MEIJER COUPON POLICY

We accept manufacturer, Catalina manufacturer, Meijer, Catalina Meijer, internet and competitors’ coupons within certain guidelines. For Meijer, Catalina Meijer and competitors’ coupons the customer pays any applicable sales tax on the discounted price. When a manufacturer or Catalina vendor coupon is presented, the customer pays sales tax on the full retail amount; and we rebate only the value of the coupon. We do not issue rainchecks on out-of-stock vendor coupon items.
To be valid, coupons must be presented before or on the expiration date. The customer must meet with the terms or qualifications for redemption on the coupon.
If you have additional questions please, please feel free to stop at the Customer Service desk of your local Meijer store, and ask to speak with the Service Manager.

It is short on doubling or coupon limit details. However, a very interesting phrase is in there: competitor’s coupons. Since all of Meijer’s policies are subject to the very vague “certain guidelines,” stop by your local store and ask what those guidelines are! If the person you speak with doesn’t know about the accepting competitor’s coupons, show them the printout and ask them to find out what their guidelines are! If they will accept Target coupons, its a VERY good thing!

Free merchandise (or manufacturer’s Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons

Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons
Internet coupons
Soft drink container caps

The following are guidelines and limits:

Wal-Mart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.
Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Wal-Mart will not accept expired coupons.
Internet coupons should be legible and say “Manufacturer Coupon.” There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code.
Only one coupon per item is permitted.
Use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by Customer Service Manager.

Kroger Coupon Policy

Couldn't find a written one for Kroger. The closest thing you’ll find is the double coupon policy at the bottom of their fliers.

Anyone find anything more than I did?

Yes you can. Meijer Mealbox coupons work like Target printable coupons!

Any suggestions as to how I can 'fight' my local walmart who has told me they don't take online coupons. (And who told me that this was a company policy after I said I've never had a problem in other Walmart's.)

I also know that Price Chopper will double all coupon's up to $1.00, unless it says 'not subject to doubling.'
