My local Walmart SuperCenter does not accept coupons printed from the web. Can anyone tell me how I can get coupons sent to me? Is there web sites one can check out? With prices so high I miss being able to use my printed coupons. Any advice?

I have never been to a Walmart that accepts printed off coupons...they all act like you're just printing the same coupon over and over and over again. I have had several WMRT employees say "well, how do I know it's not just a copy of an actual coupon" I hate walmart!
ANYWAYS...if you can print a coupon off online- then all you have to do is go to that same company that the coupon is for and e-mail the company requesting that they send you coupons. I have done this a few times and usually you'll get the coupons in the mail with in 2 weeks. They may or may not be the same coupon, but they are usually good ones anyways. I have actually gotten better coupons if I e-mail the company anyways...I'll get multiple coupons for what ever they have coupons for.

I understand why a lot of stores are leery about internet coupons - there are so many counterfeits out there...

I don't use coupons very often (if at all), nor do I shop at WalMart, but I read something not that long ago on another site about their coupon policy:

“Wal-Mart Stores can accept coupons that are available on the Internet for customers to print from their home computers. The following are guidelines for the stores for accepting Internet coupons:

- The coupon should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon". There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer, to ensure the coupon can be processed for payment.
- The coupon should have a scan-able bar code.
- The coupon should have an expiration date.
- The coupon cannot be a photocopy.
- The limit is one coupon per item, per Customer.
- A Salaried Manager can refuse to accept a coupon if it does not meet any or all of these guidelines.”

Because the coupons printed from the legitimate websites. Shoppers should feel confident approaching their Wal-Mart store manager with their coupons and the email from their store’s corporate contact in hand. To make it easiest for the store manager to see that the coupons are from legitimate websites, do not cut the coupon out from the piece of paper it prints on. Keep the entire page intact so the manager can see the website address at the top or bottom of the page.

Good luck! HTH!

I go through self checkout to avoid the coupon nazi's. This won't work if you have coupons that need a number entered I don't think, at least I've never tried (ex: Free item or Buy One Get One Free coupons.) I did find out recently that self checkout only allows you to do 10 coupons an order, so on the rare occasion I have more than that at Walmart, I just split my order up.

Our walmart doesn't have the self check out thing.... Yet.

I also found out that Walmart will not take the coupons from the blinkies either. Walmart actually doesn't have them, so I happen to grab them at another store, and they wouldn't accept them.
