Hi AmandaGa,

I just cancelled my membership to Grocery Game last week after being a member for about 7 months.

While it was a decent program, my two biggest complaints with it were that stores in my area were limited and ones I subscribed to were never updated in a timely manner. I enjoyed it in the beginning but now that I know how to "play" the game, I can do it on my own.

I did learn a lot from the Grocery Game though, which I'm grateful.

I so appreciate everyone sharing ideas and thoughts. I'm going to head over to both suggested URLs and look around.

Have awesome days!

I am a grocery gamer for life If they dont have enough stores in your area for you , you do have an option to get the guide to teach you how to do it yourself. It is 90% something you can do on your own but for me its worth paying . It would take me a lot longer to do it on my own. The reason the list is put out on sunday is so that you can take full advantage of the newest coupons. On sunday morning I get the paper and pull out the new coupons. Then I pull up all my lists and clip the coupons I need. I eat a nice breakfast with my family and then I go out to do all my shoping by myself. I works great for me and I spend way less money then I ever did. I use to have to work really hard at meal planning and looking at all the adds. Now we have all the food we want and I pay a fraction for it then what I used to pay.Toay at publix my cart was so full I had to carry a bag and my total bill was less then 60.00.

I spent 3.12 at walgreens this morning and got 4 boxes of haircolor, 2 fly swaters, 3 bottles of dawn dish soap, 2 chap sticks, one pack of paper plates, one box of bithday candles and two sharpie markers. I never did that well when I did it on my own.

The grocery game only gave me the option for 2 grocery stores... I changed my info to my mothers address 2 towns away and now have several stores (all in my area) to choose from.

I've only used it for a coupole weeks, so I havent made up my mind about it yet. I do like having all of the stores to choose from though. Plus the newspaper in our area does not put grocery ads in the paper (weird huh??) so it's nice to have a list of all the sales without me having to go to the store to pick them up.
