...but you dont really need it...

I seem to do this alot. Especially at Walgreens. I use their rebate program and get my rebate paid back to me on their card just because I get an extra 10%.
I stock up on toothpaste, shampoo, body washes, razors, ect. (whatever is on sale & I have a coupon)

Just a couple weeks ago I had a few $4 off venus breeze razors and used it on top of a $2 walgreens coupons they were on sale for $8 so I got 4, not on the same day but spread out. I can use the same razor probably for about 2-3 months so these razors will last me at least 3 yrs! because they all came with 2 refils.

But yet I still continue to get razors or some other product because I get them for a good price. I tell dh "well eventually we will need them" he agrees.
Sometimes I stop myself from buying things because I know we have enough, especially shampoo products. Guess its just hard for me to pass up a good deal.

Anyone else do the same?

I do this but with modifications. I only get it if it is 100% free. I sell items at a garage sale. I also barter them. I also will donate items with a tax write off for full face value.
edited due to having ALOT of problems with site and my original edits never showed up. edited portion is bold.

You can always donate the stuff. You won't be out of pocket at all if you're getting the things free!

I try to buy things that are a good deal enough for a year. I sometimes will get enough for 2 years, but rarely. I believe that stores will always offer great deals, so when I notice I need to start looking, I usually find a good sale before I run out.
Also, I tell my friends about sales or get things as gifts...ie: bath n body soaps 5 for 15...
I have friends who do stock up like you are describing. I think it's good to be frugal!

I was worried I would do this, but just like sahmommyuv3 I try to look for things that we are gonna be running out of soon. The only reason I get things I don't need is if they are free or practically free, maybe only a couple dollars. I love allgirls idea of selling these extras at a garage sale.

I will if it's free or under $1. I haven't paid for a razor or toothpaste in I couldn't tell you how long. As a matter of fact cvs has a razor for sale for $2 and I have 2- $2 coupons for it. So I'll be heading out for that.

Maybe you could trade them on the bartering board and get something you could use in return.

I do do this if I have a coupon and it is on sale. Or if it is something that is a name brand and I really like it but don't want to pay full price for it and have a coupon, I will buy it.

I have been trying to get out of the habit of doing that, and have been doing pretty good with it.. I don't normally getthings for free, but I do use coupons so it is much cheaper.

I do this but on a Much bigger level - It is My Huge Huge downfall - and sometimes I wonder if just staying home and Staying away from The Internet completly would Help me

I think its great if you do the Really cheap or free items -
I do those too -

But I am also A sucker for Bath and body works and Victoria secrets sales and coupons - And who Really Needs all that stuff ??

Plus if I Get like a $10 Off 50.00 Coupon for lets say gap kids -
I go in there and spend About 100.00 anyway - Buying Tons Of clearence stuff for my kids that are Yes great Prices But Um - Does My Son Really Need another Pair of khakis for 4.99 Or does my DD need a Cute sweater just because its 8.99??

No they don't =

I am really trying hard to stop my Great deal spending -
I think its too Much of a Good thing - and its Doing us more harm than good -
