Do you keep in mind of what restaurant coupons you have when planning a dinner out?

I know I do!

Either coupons or specials. Some have kids eat free. Some have specials like pizza during the week have beat the clock where the earlier you call the cheaper your pizza and things like that. I am usually aware of the specials for all the area places.

Yes I do. I carry them in my coupon organizer. I also check valpak.com to see the local restaurants coupons online. Then I just print them out and go.

dh laughs at me evertime I say "I got a coupon for that"

Always. A local high school sells Enjoy the City books as a fundraiser. They're kind of like entertainment books, but they cost only $10 and most restaurants have multiple coupons.

Our schools do the same thing here and the booklets really are worth the money.

YES! We have two different fundraiser "packs" that we buy every year. One is from our kids christian school. It is called a "peeler." We also buy the boys and girls club one. Both "packs" are very good. They have lots of buy one get one free meals, some are re-usable (like buy one get one free pizza's and kids eat free and $10 off of a $30 purchase) If a local place doesn't have a coupon in the book, we don't eat there. I also just bought a "Coffee Break coupon sheet" it has the local coffee places in it and has some good re-useable coupons in there too!

Yes we do! Dh is really good about it now, he'll first ask where we have coupons for, then he'll say, so ya wanna go eat at such and such since we have a coupon?! And that's one fundraiser I'm always willing to buy, those cards & books of coupons and discounts for local restaurants, they provide some really good deals.
