Can you believe this happened? This is from the target coupon generator website. I am saddened by this!!

"Sorry. Due to a Target lawsuit, this generator has been pulled off the market. Target delivered a series of threats, as well as a bunch of hang up threatening phone calls to my family, telling me that what I was doing was creating fraud. SD administration has also been sent these threats, but they are keeping silent about it because mention of it could cause legal action. Since I can't afford a lawyer, I am shutting the generator down for the time being.

We will bring it back once we decide if we can do this. For the time being, shop at WAL-MART! "

This i sad---I love coupons. I think you can get coupons from the Target website towards the bottom of the site--but don't quote me on that.

That is sad, but I was just on the website and down towards the bottom, under Super Target there is a link for coupons. Hopefuly they'll work.

I really do like Target and the store coupons! I just went to a site that still has Target coupons on their site, so if you'd like it you can PM me. It is my understanding that the Target I go to still accepts the coupons (I called them yesterday and they said they had no plan to stop using them), but I am not 100% sure that ALL of them do. The manager that I spoke to told me that "There are a few sites out there that are in trouble (from Target) because they don't have "permission" to be posting the target coupons"- is it a different site that you are trying to get them from(other than the target site) ? I laughed when I heard the person say to "shop at walmart" because walmart doesn't allow ANY printed off coupons in ANY of their stores that I have been to...so they are much worse than Target at coupons. I think the reason why this person may have said to "shop at Walmart" MAY BE (I'm not CERTAIN!!!) but this site may be in trouble from Target because they may not have had permission to post Target coupons...

My Wal-mart does accept printed coupons but not the Target ones of course. You can't use a printed coupon and a manufacturers coupon at the same time either.

I have not printed coupons from a Target coupon generator, but can't you get their coupons online from the Target website?

You're lucky! I wish my Walmart accepted printed coupons. The one we lived close to in South Carolina didn't accept them either. The Walmart here hasn't ever accepted them (it opened less than 3 years ago). One time when we first moved here I had about 25 printed off manufactures coupons and went in to get only those things that I had coupons for. I got to the check out and the lady told me "we won't accept these, because they're probably just copied off over and over again, how do we know???" and then she started getting all huffy about it so I just left my cart at the end of her till and left. I wouldn't have left my cart there if she wasn't so rude about it!
I just figured that it was most Walmarts that didn't accept coupons, since none of the ones I've been to have.

Perhaps I'm not getting something here but people are mad that they have been caught breaking the rules and that they can no longer scam Target?

What a great thing to be angry about folks.

That's what I was thinking!! I think it is sad that Target has to worry about people scamming them!
