Do you let coupons rule you?

Do you ever find yourself going overboard with your coupons? Do you not buy things you really want or need because you don't have a coupon for it? Or are you able to strike a balance?

I use coupons most of the time. I use them to get things I will eventually need, such as shampoo, razors, ect. I take advantage of Walgreens rebates, buy it and get it free after rebate.
But if I have coupons for free items, heck yeah Ill use them because theyre free.

But if its just one of those small coupons for 25 cent off of $2, then no I dont use/buy it.

Yes, I definitly do that sometimes. I did this week as a matter of fact. Nowhere on my list were these quick oatmeal bars from Quaker Oats, BUT....they were on sale and I had a coupon. Totally did not need them, but the sale and coupon made them a dollar per box, so I thought I'd try it. Good thing they are pretty tasty so it wasn't a total waste of $2. I try to limit doing this though!

I do buy stuff we need even if I don't have a coupon. I think of coupons as an added bonus! I do stock up on things I use or can use if there is a great sale/coupon. I will also try new things if it is really cheap. But if I have no use for it, it stays on the shelf.

Right now my coupons have taken over my purse - that needs to get under control - I just need to put them in my coupon organizer!

i will buy something just because I have a coupon if its something i would like to try. Or if its free. but otherwise its only products I use regularly. shampoo etc i switch up all the time with coupons and sales.

I try to have coupons for many of our mainstays that we purchase..I certainly would not let it rule me or anything like that. if I don't have a coupon for it but I need it then of course I will buy it anyway.

I am brand specific only on a few items. there are of course some items I never buy without a coupon or on sale.

Me too! I just started getting stocked up on things like body wash, razors, etc. I know we will use these things. I will buy something if I need it though even without a coupon, doesn't mean I like it.

For the most part no- I usually plan out what I am going to buy and if I have a great coupon for something and get it for little money- I will try the product out!
