haha, i totally understand.

i went to rite aid yesterday and got 40.00 worth of things for 5.00. then went to the grocery store and got 90.00 worth of food for 28.00. i was stoked

alltogether, after coupons i got 8 cans of bug spray, 2 boxes of crayons, 8 packs of pens, 7 tubes of deodorant for free. everything name brand, everything pretty expensive. crayola, hotshot, lady speed stick, and bic. haha.

then i stocked up on peanut butter (70 cents a jar) and jelly (60 cents a jar). oh, i got 2 bags of iams dog food (20.00 value) for 4.00. then i turned around and got 9 cans of dog food and 10 cans of cat food for free.

i'm getting there, getting there. i am having a hard time saving, on average, more than 50% on groceries though.

Good job.
Don't you hate it when you're all excited about your savings on a particular shopping trip and you tell someone and the response is something like "that's nice"?

Great job! Are the B1G1 store sales? Or you had coupons? I love Publix!

They were store sales and I had coupons, both store and manufacturers coupons. Publix has this great thing in that their B1G1s ring half price so you can use 2 manu coupons and 2 store coupons if you have them. Also, I found out from the cashier that they accept competitors coupons.

This is my DH!! He doesn't get HALF as excited as I do when I get great deals at the store!! I mean he SHOULD though...it's HIS money I'm spending!! (Or rather NOT spending!!)

Way to go ndbeckner!! Way to use those coupons!! :happy dance:
