First, the coupons in the store ie: the ones in front of a product you pull out and use right away. Can you use these else where? So if the coupon was for Kool Aid and I got it at Meijer, but I know it's cheaper at WalMart, can I take the coupon from there and use it at WalMart?

Second, on doubling:At Safeway, you use a coupon for up to four doubled coupons up to $.50. If I have a coupon for $1 will I be able to get it for $1.50?

Third. the coupons you get printed at the register don't say specifically that you have to use them at that store (again, Safeway printed but want to use them at Wally World) Can I use them elsewhere?

TIA for all your help to a newbie coupon clipper!

Sarah

I know I can't answer all of your questions but I will give it a shot. Anyone else can feel free to chime in an add more or correct me if I got something wrong but this is as I understood it. Happy Shopping

The coupons you pull from those automated things by the products usually are manufacture coupons, but read the coupon carefully to make sure. And yes manufacture coupons can be used everywhere.

The coupons that get printed at check out with your receipt at least at my store say redeem at Von's(or whatever grocery store you were at) As far as I know Albertsons takes coupons from other stores.

And I called my local Ralph's about the doubling of coupons and this is what they said. If the coupon is .50 off it gets doubled to 1.00 off if the coupon is 1.00 off it becomes 2.00 off and if the coupon is for 1.50 off it is still only 2.00 off which is still good. So my store has a 2.00 doubling limit. But All grocery chains are different and each manager has the choice to modify there business practices as long as it dosent go against corporate. So you will have to call around to your local stores to find where the best deal can be made.
