I did! I went to Walmart for childrens cold medicine and I get the Equate brand so I didn't have a coupon BUT they still have Colgate and Speed Stick on sale for $1 each and I got 2 coupons in Sun paper - one for Speed Stick $1 off and Colgate $.75 off, so I paid $.25 for both.

Total $ to savings (which is a jar for me

) $1.75

I used coupons today!

Coupon savings - $12.10
Double coupons - $ 1.10

Total Coupon - $13.20

DH went to the store yesterday and bought 2 bulk items, and used 2 coupons for a total of $0.95 in savings...

Then, I went to the local mom & pop grocery store, where they had Suave shampoo on sale for $.89/each. I had 2 coupons, each for $1 off 2 Suave products, and I bought 4. So, instead of paying $.89 for each (Total = $3.56), I ended up only paying $1.56, which works out to be $.39 for each bottle!! Savings = $2!!

10/03/07 - Bought 2 pkgs. Mission tortillas ON SALE FOR $.99, used 2 coupons for $.55 off each = Total Saved $1.10
10/06/07 - Bought 6-pk. Tropicana Grab-n-Go cartons, using $1 off coupon. (Reg. price = $3.73)
10/16/07 - Saved $10.30 with coupons!!
10/22/07 - Used 3 - $1.50 off 2 oz. or larger Purell hand sanitizers @ $1.48/ea. (All were free + I got $.06 back!!) Saved $4.50!!!
10/23/07 - Saved $2 with coupons today!! (Coffeemate and 2 Nestle Ready-Bake cookies)
10/27/07 - Saved $3 today!! ($2 off 2/Blue Bunny & $1/off 1- Glade candle)
10/30/07 - Saved the price of a "BK Joe Iced Coffee" w/coupon for Free one w/purch. of Lrg. sand. Cost a little over $2 I know...$2.39 maybe??? Adding this to my total for the month.

I went to get my $1 pouches of tuna at kroger and use the $.55 cent coupons which they usually will make $1. So the tuna would have been free. The coupon said not to double, but I'd been hearing alot of people say the were anyway. Well I just checked my receipt to post here, and THEY DIDN'T DOUBLE IT!!! I'm so cranky. Grrrr....So anyway

this shopping trip i had a bill for 68.00, after coupons it was 45.00. not a GREAT deal...but good enough...i saved 23.00 (i have been really sick)

so far this year, i saved almost 800.00 by using coupons (from june to now). so i am going to keep a careful october log to see how much i am saving vs. what i am buying...
