Mine are just another thing in the diaper bag that I never leave home without. I couldn't tell you the number of times that I've found myself reaching for them in stores like Walmart or Target.

I do have my in my purse all the time and I also put any print out coupon papers too.

I try to keep it with me all the time. Sometimes when I am looking through it at home, I forget to put it back in my purse.

i keep mine on me MOST of the time. there have been one or two select times i didn't have them and i kicked myself in the butt for forgetting them! but most of the time they sit in my car between the two front seats!

i have a BINDER full of coupons, literally hundreds of them i carry around.

I always keep them in the diaper bag. I have found that if you leave home without them you will be sorry.

I carry them in a ziploc bag.
I know what I have, so it's easy.

Now that I am getting "serious about couponing" (you carry more than 10 around at a time ) I went to the store and got something to organize them in. I actually found this really neat smaller version of a notecard holder at W-mart. It is about an inch thick and a little taller than the 3x5 note card. I bought some of the post-it divider labels and some bright-colored note cards. I went home and wrote the divers in order that I shop through the store. The only disadvantage to this system is that the internet coupons have to be folded, but all the other ones fit just perfect. The advantage is that I can choose exactly how many dividers I need, instead of wasted space in some of the plastic accordian style ones. When I got to that section of the grocery store, I just pulled out all my coupons under the section and looked for what was on sale and did a little price comparing. It worked out great! I used 12 coupons yesterday and saved $14.75 just in coupons, not to mention most of the items were already on sale.
p.s. The plastic organizer is made out of this shimmery material, so it is easy to locate in the bottom of the purse. AND, on the front of the holder, it had a clear pocket to insert a 2x2.5" label. I wrote a few sentences to think about while I shop.
1) SAY NO TO IMPULSE ITEMS.

I keep mine in my purse. You never know when you will have a good idea for dinner and need to stop to pick something up at the store. It never fails and you always have a coupon for the item when you don't have your coupon book. I got this expandable coupon holder from the dollar store.

Absolutely, positively! I never leave home without it. And my dh laughs everytime he picks up my purse because my coupon holder is sooooo heavy! So heavy that I have a holder that snaps on the handle of the cart and I cannot even use it because it falls all over the place. I cut every coupon there is because you never know what might be on sale.
