my tip is i cut out every coupon that is an item that we buy in our house. than i file it in my coupon book, every time a new add comes out and i check walmart, giant eagle, cvs & rite aid i look through them to see if anything is on sale that i have a coupon for/ i made not need the item at the time , but i know that it will not goto waste. ex. right now i have 3 bottles each of shampoo & conditioner. yeah it will take 3 months to use them up but, i got them all on sale and all with a coupon. that way maybe next month they wont be on sale againor my coupon would of expired .i hope this is not rambling ,but its hard for me to explain.

*sales are on a 12 week rotation, so when you have a sale and a coupon at rock bottom price on a staple item stock up 12 weeks worth.
*don't buy it just because it's a good price and you have a coupon. Only by items you use!

- I shop at Walmart, Kmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Glens and Target. Then I remember that Walmart matches ads, so that if there is a really good deal at Target, but not worth the gas and time it takes to get there I'll get that item at Walmart along with the deals I get there.
- I also compare the ads to see if the deal isn't just a bit cheaper (I'm talking a few pennies) somewhere else. Those Pennies ad up.
- I stockpile items that I know won't go bad: toothpaste, shampoo, soap, laundry soap, canned goods, diapers. etc. Right now I have three huge boxes of fabric softener, 2 tubes of toothpaste, about 6 bags of diapers (In her size and her next size), 6 bottles of my fav. laundry soap, toothbrushes that I got for almost free. You'll need a tooth brush until you die and you are supposed to change them out every three months, so why not stock up when the price is right?
- I got on a few coupon trains to make sure that I always have a coupon for any item I need.
- I trade coupons with other moms to get the best baby coupons for the brands I use. Right now I have over 20 pampers coupons.
- Then I watch the sales ads and match my coupons up. I also go to all my stores at least once a week because sometimes they have unadvertised sales. I have a sister that works at Glens and keeps an eye out for me there.
- My motto is this: A great deal is worth the time it takes to find it!

Me too! I do not know where to find the Target coupons. I get the flyer, but there are never any coupons in it.

PATIENCE would be my tip. Don't get an item just because you have a coupon for it. Wait and you will see that a vast majority of stores will put the said item on sale the week the coupon comes out and the week it will expire. Also, my price guide per sae is that the item has to be less than the generic and/or the price it would take to make the item from scratch.
