I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas on how to organize coupons. I have a little coupon organizer, but I am so afriad I will drop one of my coupons I get out of it while shopping.

I note on my shopping list which items have coupons, then I paper clip the coupons to the back of my list. As I put a coupon item in my cart, I move it to the front of my list.
I keep my coupon folder in the cart just in case I come across something that I didn't know was on sale or something I can use from the clearance bins.
It's not a perfect system, but it works for me.
I almost always shop with a toddler in the cart, and he has a short attention span.

I look at the ads and then write out my list. On my list, the things that I have a coupon for, I write a "C" next to it. Then I go through my coupons and put all the ones that I am going to use together in a sep. compartment in my coupon holder. When I am ready to check out just pull the coupons out and hand to cashier. IDK it seems to work for me at least....

First of all I just have to say I'm one of those people that use the big notebook with baseball card inserts. Anyway, I have it organized in categories that pretty much follow the floor plan of the store I shop most frequently. As I put something in my cart I have a coupon for, I stick that coupon in an envelope kept in the front pocket of my notebook. That way I don't have to worry about them falling out before I check-out

I keep an envelope in my purse to keep the coupons I am using. I have the coupons I am going to be using attached to my list and pull them off and put them in my envelope as I use them.

I also take my organizer with me just in case I see something I have a coupon for.
