ok, so if i am reading this right, they will only double one of the same coupon? does anybody have any experience with this? thanks!!

yes, you are correct..at least at my Giant, they only double one coupon. That is why I mainly shop at weis. I don't have time to go in and out the store multiple times. Also, my Giant only ever has had 1 or 2 lanes open with lines backed up down the aisle!

Wow I don't think I ever had that problem! In fact, when they have those print-out coupons at the register, they allow me to use my coupons to double the savings! I do that w/ baby stuff alot! I really like the people at my store though. I grew up going there and so I enjoy it.

You read that right. Unfortunately. It didn't used to be that way. Up until a few months ago Giant would double as many coupons as you presented. Now. they'll double only the first of like coupons and give you face value for the rest.
One time I did all my shopping, checked out, and went back to the shelves to get another item and checked out again. You might get a great cashier who'll allow you to do two or three transactions.
I've also heard of people using the self-scan aisles. I think you can do three transactions before the system beeps and alerts someone.
I keep meaning to write to Giant to let them know how disappointed I am with this new system, but I never quite get around to it.
If you have a Weis nearby, the sales are comparable and you can double up to, I think, four like coupons.

wow... that just blows my mind... we do have a weis nearby... a mile or two closer actually. i just like the giant better... but i might just have to try weis out!! thanks for the help girls!!
