Coupons and the Sunday paper

Okay I am fairly new to the coupon thing.
I purchased a Sunday paper this week ($2) to get one lousy coupon that I probably won't use. How can you find out ahead of time whether it is worth buying a paper or not? If I continue to buy the paper for $2 and not get any coupons then I am waisting money.

You can go to that site each week (usually on Wednesdays) to find out what inserts will be coming out that week. HTH!!

Oh and incase anyone was wondering... They update on Wednesdays! Usally around 5 pm! Yes I am a dork. I used to get excited about it!

Okay, checked out the site following the link and I am a bit confused

The list for 2/17/08 lists a whole slew of coupons which I assume were in Sunday's paper but I only got one Smart Source insert and it had one coupon. Are the coupons for certain areas? Or do you think someone snatched the good ones out of the paper I purchased. Or am I just not reading the site correctly?

It depends... Was it sealed with the other ads? There is a chance someone stole yours which sucks!

If there was one single coupon in it I would call the paper and tell them what happened cause there was a whole packlet of coupons. Just explain that you bought a paper and the coupons were missing. Thats what I would do! Granted they wont be able to give you the replacement but maybe a refund, I had that happen to me once. I always take the paper thats in the door cause I know its probally all there. That way someone can see if there is actually a paper in there to get. Ads and coupons here come in a sealed wrapped package. HTH

It was a 6 page smart source. And I was mistaken it had two coupons: $2 Venus razer on the back and inside a 40 cent coupon for grands. The rest were things like directtv. I don't know if there should have been more.
