What happens if I use 2 Bogo coupons-1 from the store and 1 from the manufacturer. Do I get both items free or do I get 4 items and pay for 2?

My stores will honor only 1 of the BUY1 Get 1. However, they will allow 1 B1G1 and 1 coupon for cents off off the one you are paying for so if you have a 1.00 off a 1.50 product my store (Kroger) will charge you .50 for the 2. But not all stores are alike. I always ask first because I don't like to get embarrassed with a line of customers behind me.
