You will need to separate the coupons into eatables and non eatables ( I usually separate them out into categories: baby, food, medications, personal hygiene, cleaning, and pet items) to make it easier for the volunteers to sort them out in time for the families to use them.
You will also need to get a short form from the post office and fill it out. I just asked them for a bunch so I can have it onhand so I don't have to go into the postoffice to mail them out every time.
I just wanted to add that regarding the addresses at the link provided above you will want to be sure and check - before sending coupons out - to be certain that the installation that you are sending the coupons to is still a good address.
I think momof2boys was looking into the legitimacy of the addresses that are posted in the thread mentioned above. If not, I will see what I can do about checking into an address for you if you PM me with the information about where you might like to send your expired coupons.
