I thought I would mention that for those of you who don't shop Kroger's, it might still be worthwhile to get their reward card. That has put us on the mailing list for a mini zine they send out that is full of coupons, usually pretty good ones. I think I get it once a month, maybe more, and it has a theme each time: pets, beauty supplies. This time, there were lots of coupons for their meat, chicken, etc. $2 off pork, things like that. Sometimes they are store coupons, but they also have lots of manufacturers' coupons, too. (The manuf. coupons come with a little Kroger logo on them, but you can use them at other stores, too.)

Are there any other stores that do that, that you know of? We have HT's card, too, but I'm sure the mailing address on that is out of date by now, so if they also have started sending coupons, we should update it.

The Kroger magazine is awesome!!! The coupons are really good and sometimes you get totally free items. My local grocery store used to do this but stopped. They have a machine now in each store that you scan your card and coupons print out. The bad thing is they are only good that day.
